Make Sure to Keep Your Garden Weeded

I’ve been doing a lot of gardening lately, which isn’t surprising since it is summer. I have a huge flower bed in the front of my house, which is approximately 6ft. by 4ft. Then in front of the walkway to my house is another long slender bed that follows the curve of the sidewalk up to the front door. Keeping up with the weeding in these two beds is a constant struggle. I’m a Mac

We bought our first Mac last winter when just one computer in the house wasn’t enough for the four of us who are old enough to use a computer. We didn’t want to make the switch to Vista because, at that time, there was nothing but rumors of bugs and other difficulties that made the purchase of another Windows based computer a scary thought. In the PC world, there is no option to Windows, at least none that I know of. If you had something different, you wouldn’t be able to interface with anyone else anyway. So we took the plunge and purchased an iMac. I, for one, have been nothing but happy with the decision. Read more »

I Finally Did It

Well, after much brow beating, I did it. I joined Facebook and Twitter. Facebook amuses me. I am now “friends” with 32 people. Funny, whenever someone adds me to their list, I get a post on my “wall” that “Joe Smith and Glenna Heckler-Todt are now ‘friends’.” Funny, I didn’t kow that I wasn’t Joe’s friend. Or when I filled in my profile, a post appeared on my wall that said, “Glenna Heckler-Todt is now married.” Don’t tell Matt that we were just now married–he thinks we’ve been married for nearly 18 years.
